The very last thing is Hotspots, and this is actually particularly new in the last year or two that I've started seeing this animation that pulses, catches eye of the user, to give more information once you hover over it or if you click on it. An example of this is Fullstory's Hotspot. When you get a recording for the first time, there's this pulsating question mark that actually, when you click on it, it tells you that this is where you could share notes with your team. I think this is big because Fullstory probably has found that when teams are brought into the product, they're more likely to stick around. It's not a solo product, it's meant to be a product that's shared with a whole team, where growth is involved and product is involved. So, this is actually quite make sense. And it's really positive product. The ah-ha moment, the first try, worked. I saw this when I've already seen, "Oh, I get it. I've seen that recording for the first time," so I've already experienced the ah-ha moment.

Another example is Hey's Hotspot, where is this pulsating button where it's really telling you where to go next. Without having to use tool tips, you can just see now it makes sense where you need to click because it is very pulsating. I think a lot of video games uses this, where something is pulsating and your eye is drawn towards this. I find they probably adopted, products probably adopted this from video games where something is pulsating and that leads your attention without having to give so much. Your own curiosity will drive you there. And when you click on it, just by trial and error, you'll figure it out.
